Anxiety in itself is not a phenomenon abnormal or pathological.

Anxiety is an emotion base, comprising an activation state of the organism.
When a situation is perceived subjectively as dangerous then we feel fear and anxiety.
Anxiety is not only a limit or a disorder, but it is an important resource, because it is a physiological condition, effective in many moments of life to protect us from the risks, maintain alertness and improve performance ....

A panic attack is a warning mechanism that isolates the brain from reality as automatic reaction due to a deep crisis or some kind of situation of intense discomfort and the worst thing is that this phenomenon is absolutely unpredictable and immediate.

In humans anxiety translates into a tendency immediate exploration of the environment, in the search for explanations, reassurance and escape routes, as well as in a number of autonomic phenomena such as increased breathing rate, heart rate, sweating, etc ..
These phenomena depend on whether, assuming that you are in a situation of real danger, the body needs the most anxiety muscle energy available, to be able to run away or attack in the most effective manner, avoiding the risk and ensuring survival.

When the activation of the anxiety is excessive, unjustified or disproportionate to the situation, we are faced with an anxiety disorder, which can greatly complicate the life of a person and make it unable to cope with even the most common situations.

The anguish and despair often reach truly unsustainable levels, with the direct consequence that the person will fail to behave in a normal and free. We begin to live with "fear of fear".
